The Constitution
ARTICLE 1
NAME AND MEMBERSHIP
Section 1: The name of this Association shall be Milton Margai Old Students Association of North America (MIMOSA—N.A.)
Section 2: All graduates and former students of the Milton Margai College Of Education and Technology (MMCET), and the college that Preceded it, Milton Margai Teachers College (MMTC), are and Shall be considered Alumni/Alumnae and members of this Association.
Section 3: Active members shall be those who are current with their annual membership dues for the current year as provided in the By-Laws, and only active members shall be eligible to hold offices or to vote.
Section 4: Associate members shall be those friends of the college making Significant gifts to the MMCET Fund, who may belong to the Association but may not hold office or vote.
Section 5: Honorary members shall be those persons who may be elected to Such membership by the Association but may not hold office or vote.

ARTICLE 2
THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The affairs of the Association shall be managed by an executive committee which shall comprise of the following members: i. President ii. Vice- President iii. Secretary iv. Assistant Secretary, and v. Treasurer.
DUTIES OF OFFICERS
Section 1: The President
The president shall serve as the presiding officer at all Association meetings and at meetings of the executive committee. He or she shall coordinate the functions of all alumni association officers and committees.
Section 2: The Vice-President
The Vice-President shall plan and coordinate all committees. He or she shall perform all functions of the President in the absence of the latter.
