Submitted in response to Discussion Topic 1
How to fund the established "Dissertation Grant" at MMCET for 20 Students.
This requires the general participation of members. Since active membership is still low (surprisingly), we should tap from the $100 annual membership fee to fund this all important initiative and other Development Activities on the main campus of the college (Goderich). Alumni/alumnae of this great institution should be very proud of their Alma Mater and step up to the challenge. Collectively, we can make a difference. Register today to offer your helping hand.

Discussion Topic 3
MMCET PROJECTS
1. DISSERTATION GRANTS:
For two years now, MIMOSA has been sponsoring twenty final year dissertations/projects a year at the Milton Margai College of Education and Technology. Selected final year students receive one hundred thousand leones each.
2. BOOK DRIVE:
MIMOSA is committed to making relevant and up-to-date texts and journals available to students and lecturers at the college. This drive has already begun with about three hundred classic texts sent to the English department. Also, subscription to two journals of Education has already been made on behalf of the college. Currently, the attention is on Education Books since the discipline of Education is the nervous system of the college.
3. ELECTRICITY FOR THE GODERICH CAMPUS:
This is a relatively expensive project which calls for serious fundraising. MIMOSA is searching for ways to achieve such a noble goal. Electricity on campus will make teaching and learning a lot more rewarding for both teachers and learners at the college.
4. REHABILITATION OF THE GREAT HALL:
This is a long term plan that MIMOSA will embrace after having put certain things in place.
